About
My name is Robin Fowler
I have always been drawn to exotic lands and high-risk adventures. Unfortunately, that involved drugs and alcohol. Like any addict, it was to hide a desperate and all-encompassing sadness. When things got dark. I realized I had two choices: make a drastic change or end up dead or in prison. I joined the Marine Corps and felt a belonging I never had and a self reliance that had always eluded me.
After my service, I desperately did everything to regain that dignity. This encompassed extreme sports involving horses, motorcycles, hang gliders and parachutes. The more dangerous and the extreme the better. The sad truth is that these pursuits were to hide the extreme worthlessness that plagued my entire life. This art forces me to look at myself and see the beauty of my humanness.
